Had the Angus burger with fries First impression - the burger seems prefabricated. As I bite into the texture seems minced almost into a paste. Too little salad, onions, pickles and no bacon. Patty has been grilled, but really only tastes slightly burned. Fries are of the premium fast-food type. Really nice when they are hot but as they cool turn grainy and dry. A meal I would be disappointed paying more than 85kr for.
Here it costs kr! The restaurant is cozy and with a great view, service good. This lift my score from below average to average. We are in Copenhagen for a vacation and our group tried salmon as starters, the salmon was ok but the veal was tasty soft to our surprise, dessert was pancake with ice cream though I think warm waffle with ice cream would be better.
Located just at the south end of the one time canal now make just 5 minute walk from the Central train station THIS fancy restaurant has it all.. We were staying in the nearby Scandic hotel and only found the place when out for an early evening walk.
It is such a nice place to sit in the sun we decided to have a meal. We had potato croquettes in black mayonnaise which were a bit different, they were quite green think mixed with peas deep fried but not at all greasy and the odd looking black mayonnaise was made from black garlic to get the colour.
The mains I had fish and chips which was delicious 3 pieces of lovely soft white deep fried cod in a light batter with homemade chips and tartare sauce. Husband had the veal with a sweet topping and new potatoes. With a beer and a Cassiopeia cocktail which was a sweet pomegranate drink.
