You will find more from around 4am when Sound or Green Mango closes! If you move away from Soi Green Mango area, you will find many bars open.
Bar Solo is good fun, and to be honest, so are the bars and clubs along Soi Green Mango - you can see the fun bars and the bars that are their for 'working'. Many nice looking or sophisticated bars will have girls 'associated' with them if you ask, but many are very subtle, and many bars are not! Surprising you find working girls [of all genders] in most bars all around the island.
I have seen girls that [would] work at bars in Bophut , Bangrak, Choeng Mon and Maenam , lots in Lamai , I have always had the best fun with the ladyboys and working girls - what you have to remember is that doing this for many is their only choice to earn!
They have no social service, no health care, and many are working to help the family on the farm back home. Those that don't 'earn' are helped with food by those that have been lucky. Disease and ill health is something they have to risk daily. More to be pitied than scored! I am a married lady nearer 60 than 50, and often travel home alone along Chaweng Beach Road and find the working girls very friendly - I have a special interest in the ladyboys, and some of the ladyboys I actually know and have helped in the past when on hard times - theirs especially is not an easy life - they normally wave and say 'Hello mama' as I drive past, or if with Mr Mitch they will call to us both.
