Reaches high 30s in summer months. That being said, don't walk around alone aimlessly after 1 am looking like a dandy. Also, don't venture too far into the outskirts of the city, as foreigners are eyed with suspicion. Don't mess with narcos they're easy to spot or their women and it'll be fine. Not all that impressive, but still without a doubt the most famous site in Culiacan.
The city doesn't offer a whole lot in terms of tourist attractions, so if you're into great architecture and rich history, Culiacan won't do much for you. I'll throw it a 7, but many would say I'm being too generous.
For instance, If you don't speak a word of Spanish, knock it down 2 points. If you're short and have poor style, knock it down 2 points. Yes, there are tons of beautiful women in Culiacan see below! The people here are proud and straightforward which means that the guys will go for the girl they want and raise the competition for gents like yourself. Fortunately the girls are also quite direct, so a lot of stares and smiles will be cast your direction.
However, obviously they still expect you to initiate contact. Leverage your exotic factor, and If you're a good-looking dude with proficient Spanish who isn't intimidated by approaching, Culiacan could be your mecca. Have fun but don't underestimate the narco presence many girls will have ties to this world in some form on another. Proceed with caution. You can chat with local girls and set up dates before you arrive in the country, which is a major advantage.
Culiacan has the reputation of having some of the best girls in the nation. You'll notice a distinct difference in appearance with girls here compared to other parts of Mexico; girls here are more like what you'd encounter in the mountain region of Colombia like Pereira if that means anything to you.
