Hi all - Looking for information on massage services available at IB Grand. I think I can get one on the beach, in the spa, or at a place in the shopping area? Where can I get the best value for my money? Thanks for your input! Or go to Jungle Spa in Puerto Morelos , other side of the highway from the beach.
See their reviews here. Much written. Plus it benefits the local community directly. I would also recommend the Jungle Spa. We go every time we're in Mexico and have had the best massages of our lives. The Mayan women who do the massages are awesome and Sandra who owns it has done a great job with these women. I don't think you'll find a better massage at a better price anywhere. If you prefer more privacy there are plenty of indoor massage spas up and down 5th.
Going somewhere will add to the cost of the massage and be an investment of time. If you are not planning on going to 5th or the other places mentioned, you can check prices on my blog, www.
They go around and offer you a five minute sample massage. If you find a therapist you like, then book with them as the quality of the massages can vary widely. Thank you all! As it stands now, I'm not interested in leaving the complex and exploring this time. NWe're only there 6 days and I don't want to leave the Grand!
Will check out your blog, Actran! Both were fabulous with the El Spa being a bit cheaper. Like Actran said once you find a therapist you like, you can ask them where they are located. My husband took advantage of the 5 minute message on beach and the therapists were either from The Grand or El Spa. I have not had a massage at the Iberostar yet! My hubby and I did the outdoor couples massage at Sandals - it was on a pier in Jamaica it was overlooking the beautiful aqua blue water, so amazing - we were lured into this after seeing numerous other couples enjoying their outdoor massages.
